Borgo del Tiglio

About the estate

The Borgo del Tiglio estate is located in Cormòns in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region and cultivates around six hectares of vineyards. The history of the property dates far back, with part of the vineyards having been in the family for four generations and documented as being cultivated since the eighteenth century. Following the death of his father, Nicola Manferrari took over the management of the estate in 1981, which at the time spanned less than three hectares. Without a classical background in oenology, he developed a distinctive winemaking style shaped by empirical observation. Today, the historic estate in the heart of the Collio denomination crafts characterful and individual wines.
