The Bodegas y Viñedos la Guardesa de Toro estate is located in Toro within the Spanish region of Castile and León. The operations rely on centenarian vines of the Tinta de Toro variety. The sandy soils with a high silica content south of the Duero river formed a natural barrier against phylloxera, allowing these ancient vineyards to survive. The mission of the winery is to produce excellent wines that reflect the essence of the terroir while combining tradition and sustainability.
