About the estate
The Bodegas Señorío de Arana winery was founded in the late 1970s by the De Santiago family in Labastida within the Rioja Alavesa region, drawing on a long-standing family tradition. Surrounded by its own vineyards, the estate cultivates grape varieties such as Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano, and Mazuelo. Vinification takes place in modern facilities utilizing stainless steel tanks and controlled fermentation backed by a strict traceability system. Selected wine batches subsequently undergo an aging process of 15 to 30 months in American and French oak barrels. For commercialization, the estate offers two distinct brands named VIÑA DEL OJA and SOMMELIER.
