About the estate

The Bodegas Muga winery in the Rioja region looks back on a history spanning nearly a century and consistently relies on traditional methods for winemaking. The estate farms predominantly its own vineyards and focuses on sustainable practices as well as a responsible approach to nature. Traditional working methods include the natural clarification of the wines, the use of gravity for racking, and dedicated aging processes. As the only winery in Spain with its own master cooper and three in-house coopers, barrels are crafted from the finest oak. The portfolio features wines from the Rioja DOCa and Cava DO denominations.
