About the estate
The Bodegas Mas Alta estate was founded in 1999 by two Belgian families in the village of La Vilella Alta in the heart of the Priorat region. The vineyards are situated in an isolated area at the foot of the Montsant mountain range on plots featuring a diverse soil composition of schist, quartzite, limestone, and sandstone. Cultivation focuses on indigenous grape varieties such as Garnacha and Cariñena, with the entire vineyard officially registered for organic farming since 2009. The portfolio includes expressive red wines as well as small-scale productions of white wines, all shaped by a precise and nature-oriented approach.
