About the estate
The Bodegas Marqués de Cáceres winery was founded in 1970 by Enrique Forner in Cenicero in the heart of High Rioja, and is managed today in the second generation by his daughter Cristina Forner. The estate cultivates a vast vineyard area and sources grapes from privileged plots, focusing on classic grape varieties such as Tempranillo, Graciano, Viura, and Garnacha, alongside distinctive local varieties. In addition to traditional Rioja wines, the estate also produces white wines in the Rueda region. The winemaking approach combines family tradition with modern cellar technology, strict vineyard selection, and careful aging to craft characterful wines that are exported globally.
The eno directory lists 28 wines, mostly from Tempranillo and Sauvignon Blanc. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
