About the estate

The Bodegas Izquierdo, S.L. estate is located in Aranda de Duero in the Castilla y León region and produces wines under the Ribera del Duero DO denomination. Winemaker Antonino Izquierdo has overseen the production since 1997, and the estate released its wines to the market in 2006. The vineyards, which are over 40 years old, are farmed exclusively by hand following lunar cycles without the use of herbicides, systemic products, or chemical fertilizers. To achieve high quality, yields are strictly controlled using organic animal fertilizers and limiting production to a few clusters per vine.
