About the estate
The Bodega Santa Catalina del Mañan was founded in 1962 by around thirty farmers who united to solve logistical problems regarding wine transport. The estate manages 879 hectares of vineyards featuring a diversity of soils and combines traditional bush vine cultivation with modern trellis systems. The grape portfolio includes Merlot, Tempranillo, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante Bouschet, Monastrell, and several white varieties. Part of the production holds organic certification, offering young wines, barrel-aged wines, and specialties such as Fondillón. The wines are distributed throughout Spain and exported to countries within the European Union.
The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Chardonnay and Mourvèdre. The estate sells to horeca.
