About the estate
The Bodega Darío Lubiano estate is located in Pesquera de Duero within the Castilla y León region and operates under the Ribera del Duero DO denomination. Founder and winemaker Darío Lubiano instilled a deep appreciation for the land and the careful cultivation of the vineyards. The vineyards in the La Ermita, El Quintanar, and Los Cuernos sites are planted with Tempranillo, with vine ages ranging from 25 to over 100 years. These sites feature soils with a high limestone content and a loamy-clay texture, alongside a north-south orientation. The winemaking process involves manual harvesting with cluster selection and transport in small boxes to ensure optimal fruit condition.
