About the estate

The Birnstingl estate is managed in the third generation by Helene and Manfred Birnstingl along the South Styrian Wine Road. What started as a mixed agricultural business has evolved into a winery encompassing nearly ten hectares of vineyards. The vines are cultivated on the Karnerberg and Hoch Pößnitzberg sites, featuring sandy-gravelly as well as clayey opok soils. Three generations work together in the family business, with Manfred overseeing winemaking and Tobias contributing to viticulture and presentations. The portfolio includes fruity classic wines, robust regional wines, and age-worthy single-vineyard wines.
