About the estate
The Bioland-Weingut Breiling estate in Maikammer has been producing wine since 1643 and operates as a pure family business. The vineyards are situated on south and southeast-facing slopes featuring diverse soil types ranging from pure sand to loam, loess loam, and clay soils. The estate manages its vineyards according to organic-biological guidelines, completely avoiding herbicides and artificial fertilizers. Harvesting is traditionally carried out by hand, while fermentation takes place in the cellar using natural yeasts in wooden barrels. In addition to wine, the winery also produces grape seed oil, vinegar, distillates, and sparkling wine.
