About the estate
The Bicu de Fremundi estate is located in Guardia Sanframondi in Campania and manages seven hectares of vineyards on hillsides ranging from 250 to 400 meters above sea level. The winery has recovered native grape varieties such as Malvasia di Candia, Greco, Trebbiano Toscano, and Lambrusco, while also promoting typical Sannio varieties including Falanghina, Aglianico, Montepulciano, and Cabernet Sauvignon. In addition, olives are grown on the remaining land for oil production. The small cellar is designed for vinifying low quantities of grapes and produces an annual output of about 25,000 bottles. A photovoltaic system supports environmentally friendly operations for water production and barrel cooling.
