About the estate

The Bianchi Viticoltori estate is located in the village of Poggio Murella in Tuscany and traces its winemaking tradition back to 1951, when Lanciotto Bianchi planted the first Sangiovese vines. Today, the family-run winery manages just over two hectares of vineyards, which were thoroughly replanted in 2004 under the guidance of Valerio Bianchi. The agricultural approach relies on sustainable practices, including organic fertilizers, minimal mechanical intervention, manual harvesting, and gentle pressing. Operating within the Maremma Toscana DOC, the estate produces several bottled wines, such as Montecavallo, Lanciotto, and Sasso Colombino. The winery is a member of the Italian Federation of Independent Winemakers and focuses on crafting authentic wines that express the local terroir.

The eno directory lists 4 wines, mostly from Sangiovese and Alicante Bouschet.
