About the estate

The Franz Bayer winery in Königsbrunn am Wagram is run by Franz Bayer jun. in the fifth generation and looks back on around one hundred years of viticultural history. The estate encompasses 26 hectares of vineyards located exclusively on the Wagram, where white wines predominantly prevail in a region-typical manner, supplemented by a diverse variety of red wines. Alongside the classic portfolio, recent years have seen new emphases through a barrique series, the Red-Star collection, and the traditional Leopold-Figl edition. The primary objective of the estate is to offer wines of good quality across a broad spectrum, which are also presented in a well-stocked vinotheque featuring decades of cellaring history.
