About the estate

The BASTIJANA d.o.o. estate in Jelsa continues a 150-year-old family winemaking tradition on the island of Hvar, established by Andro Tomić following years of international training. Across roughly ten hectares of estate vineyards, managed largely through organic practices in steep, stony, and limestone-rich terrain, the winery focuses on indigenous grape varieties such as Plavac Mali, Pošip, and Bogdanuša. Supplemented by long-term partner growers, the winery produces between 100,000 and 120,000 bottles annually. The cellar is located in Mina bay in Jelsa, where the estate also offers dedicated tasting experiences.
