About the estate
The Barmès-Buecher estate in Wettolsheim is rooted in a family history dating back to the 17th century, taking its modern form in 1985 through the marriage of Geneviève Buecher and François Barmès. Spanning 18 hectares of vineyards, the winery has farmed biodynamically since conversion began in 1998, achieving certification from 2001 onward. Today, Maxime Barmès continues the family legacy alongside his relatives, producing expressive wines from notable sites including the Hengst, Pfersigberg, and Steingrubler Grand Crus. The production covers the AOC Alsace, AOC Alsace Grand Cru, and AOC Crémant d'Alsace denominations.
The estate sells to horeca.
