About the estate
The Azienda Vitivinicola Le Clocher di Charrère Danilo estate was founded in the early 1990s and is currently managed as a family business by Danilo Charrère and his daughter Nicole. The winery cultivates approximately 4.5 hectares of vineyards divided into 41 plots located in the central basin of the Valle d'Aosta DOC denomination. Viticulture is practiced traditionally and with respect for the environment under the conditions of steep-slope hero viticulture, featuring gradients exceeding 30 percent. Due to these geographical characteristics, a large portion of the vineyard work is performed manually without the use of mechanical equipment. The production includes autochthonous grape varieties such as Torrette, Cornalin, and Fumin alongside international varieties like Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, Gamay, Gewürztraminer, and Petite Arvine.
