About the estate
The La Source winery was founded in 2003 in Saint-Pierre in the Aosta Valley and is owned by the Celi-Cuc family, with Stefano Celi leading the estate. The vineyards cover 7.5 hectares situated at altitudes between 650 and 900 meters, cultivated with international varieties as well as native grapes such as Petit Rouge, Fumin, and Cornalin. Due to the steep terrain, all agricultural operations are carried out entirely by hand as a form of mountain and heroic viticulture. The total annual production reaches approximately 40,000 bottles, encompassing wines under regional designations including Torrette and Valle d’Aosta.
The eno directory lists 9 wines, mostly from Cornalin and Gamay.
