About the estate

The Azienda Vitivinicola La Botticella Soc. Agr. Semplice winery was founded in 1980 by Don Diego Maggio in one of the highest areas of the Marsala territory in Sicily. Today, the estate spans 40 hectares of vineyards distributed across the Trapani region. The cultivated grape varieties include Syrah, Inzolia, Catarratto, Nero d'Avola, Chardonnay, and the traditional Grillo. Operations follow organic and sustainable principles, supported by careful manual harvesting of the grapes. The wines reflect the regional heritage and are marketed under the Sicilia DOC and Terre Siciliane IGT denominations.
