About the estate
The Az.agr.Alberand winery was established in 2018 by young owner Alex in Salassa, Piedmont. The vineyards are located in the municipalities of Salassa and Valperga at the foot of the Gran Paradiso National Park on alluvial soils with a high presence of clay and silt. Cultivation relies on traditional training systems such as Guyot as well as the local historical method known as Aeroplano. The grape variety portfolio includes the indigenous Piedmontese varieties Barbera, Nebbiolo, and Erbaluce. The production focuses on distinctive red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines.
