About the estate
The Arpepe estate looks back on a long-standing history that began in 1860 and is currently managed by the fifth and sixth generations of the family. The vineyards cover a total area of 13 hectares within the alpine region of Valtellina. The estate focuses entirely on cultivating the Nebbiolo variety on steep, sun-exposed terraces featuring poor granitic soils. All vineyard and cellar work is carried out traditionally and by hand to authentically express the character of the local terroir. The portfolio includes distinctive wines such as the Valtellina Superiore DOCG and the Valtellina Superiore Sassella Riserva DOCG.
