About the estate
The Antichi Vinai Spa winery looks back on a family history that began in 1877 with the inheritance of vineyards in the Mount Etna region. Today, the fifth generation manages the traditional estate located in Sicily. The vineyards stretch across steep, terraced slopes of the volcano at altitudes ranging from 400 to 1000 meters. Cultivation focuses exclusively on native grape varieties, led by Nerello Mascalese, producing distinctive wines within appellations such as Etna DOC. The wines are aged in historic large wooden casks embedded directly into the lava rock within the estate cellars.
The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio.
