About the estate
The Amato S.R.L. estate was founded in 1927 and looks back on a long-standing family history in the Sicily region. The origins of the winery trace back to Vincenzo Giardina Papa, who returned to his homeland from America, and the subsequent founder Rosario Amato. Today, the winery is managed in the third and fourth generation by Salvatore and his son Rosario. Their working methods are strongly shaped by sustainability and organic viticulture, which is consistently implemented in the vineyards and during cellar operations. The portfolio reflects the character and indigenous grape varieties of the region through various wines.
