About the estate

The Altenriederer estate is located in Nußdorf ob der Traisen in the Traisental wine region. Erich Altenriederer jun. took over the former mixed farm at a young age and specialized in the production of wines, sparkling wines, and juices alongside fruit growing. Today, the estate cultivates approximately 15 hectares of vineyards as well as 20 hectares of orchards. The foundation of their work includes a Pannonian climate, sandy and warm soils, as well as close-to-nature cultivation. Through careful cultivation practices, targeted yield reduction, and meticulous cellar technology, the desired quality is achieved.

The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Chardonnay. The estate sells to retail.
