Leopold Figl

About the estate

The Leopold Figl family estate has been cultivating vineyards in the Lower Traisental region since 1960. The vineyards are located on dry, sandy loess soils, which ensure ideal conditions for production. In addition to the dominant Grüner Veltliner, the grape varieties Riesling, Zweigelt and Chardonnay are cultivated in the Setzen, Sonnleithen and Rosengarten vineyards. Essential components of the working method include the special care of the vineyards and the determination of the optimal harvest time. A gentle and clean processing of the grapes is implemented in the wine cellar.

The eno directory lists 27 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner. The estate sells to retail.
