Huber Markus

About the estate

The Markus Huber estate is based in Reichersdorf in the Traisental wine region. Every parcel is treated as an individual terroir requiring specific care to optimally express the character of the respective vineyard. The cultivated sites include the Erste Lage Ried Alte Setzen, the Erste Lage Ried Zwirch, the Erste Lage Ried Hochschopf, the Erste Lage Ried Rothenbart, and the Erste Lage Ried Berg. The soils are predominantly characterized by calcareous conglomerate of the Hollenburg-Karlstetten formation as well as loess deposits. The winery produces clear, elegant, mineral, precise, and complex origin-driven wines.
