About the estate
The Alessio Brandolini estate was founded in 1873 by Carlo Brandolini in San Damiano al Colle within the eastern Oltrepò Pavese area and is currently managed in the fourth generation by Alessio Brandolini. The winery cultivates nine hectares of vineyards located in the municipalities of San Damiano al Colle, Rovescala, and Montù Beccaria. The cultivated grape varieties include Barbera, Croatina, Riesling, and Pinot Noir, yielding wines under the Oltrepò Pavese DOC denomination. The estate avoids synthetic fertilizers in the vineyards, focusing instead on high planting density and permanent grass cover. In the cellar, vinification techniques involve cold maceration, temperature-controlled fermentation, and extended skin contact.
