About the estate

Founded in 1900 by Pietro Achilli, the Azienda Vinicola Ruinello winery is located in the Valle Versa within the Oltrepò Pavese region and manages approximately twenty hectares of vineyards across the municipalities of Santa Maria della Versa, Castana, and Montescano. The vineyards cultivate both traditional native varieties and French grapes, with harvesting carried out exclusively by hand. The portfolio includes various wines such as Bonarda, Pinot Nero, Buttafuoco, and sparkling wines, which are produced using modern cellar techniques combined with environmental respect. For the creation of their cru wines, grapes from specific vineyard sites are processed following careful selection. All wines are subject to rigorous controls and are produced under the Oltrepò Pavese DOC denomination.
