About the estate

The story of Tenuta Mazzolino began in 1981 when the grandfather of the current owner recognized the potential of the hills dedicated to Pinot Noir within the Oltrepò Pavese DOC. Characterized by white, chalky soils and steep slopes in the hills near the Apennines, the estate has long maintained a strong focus on this elegant grape variety. Today, the winery is managed according to the principles of organic agriculture, with the vineyards divided into numerous small parcels to highlight individual expressions. Influenced by Burgundian winemaking traditions and international reach, the estate expanded its distribution to markets in the Americas and Asia over the years. The current team continues this path of dedication, combining inherited values with fresh perspectives.
