About the estate
The Adega Quinta da Peza winery originates from a family wine trade tradition spanning three generations and the historic A Peza vineyard in Fontei, which was traditionally planted with Garnacha and Palomino. In 2004, a project began to adapt the roughly eight hectares of vineyards to modern cultivation techniques and regional varieties such as Godello and Mencía, leading to the official establishment of the winery in 2007 within a restored former stable. Winemaking takes place in a facility equipped with stainless steel tanks, oak barrels, and modern technology that combines tradition with innovation. The estate operates within the Valdeorras DO denomination, focusing on expressing the local terroir.
