The Viña Somoza Bodegas y Viñedos, S.L. estate is located in the heart of Valdeorras, combining traditional knowledge passed down through generations with modern oenology. The history of the winery is rooted in century-old vineyards situated on slopes influenced by an Atlantic climate. The production focuses on native grape varieties such as Godello, Garnacha, Brancellao, Albarello, Merenzao, and Mencía. The estate applies sustainable techniques, manual harvesting, and careful cellar processing to preserve the identity of the terroir. The winemaking is led by agricultural engineer and oenologist Javier García Alonso.
