About the estate
The 7ème Clos estate was founded in 2017 by Max Peyron and his wife Virginie in Visan within the Rhône Valley. The family-run winery cultivates 19 hectares of contiguous vineyards set across the clay-limestone and sandy soils of Visan and Valréas. The terroir benefits from the cooling influence of the Hérein river and the cleansing power of the mistral wind. The estate has been committed to organic farming practices since 2011. Older vines trained in the gobelet system are harvested entirely by hand to preserve the authentic character of the wines.
