Le domaine Quinta do Quetzal est situé au cœur de la région de l'Alentejo, sur les coteaux de Vidigueira. Le vignoble s'étend sur 52,5 hectares et est divisé en parcelles distinctes, comprenant une partie de vieilles vignes. Le microclimat se caractérise par un ensoleillement chaleureux et des brises atlantiques rafraîchissantes soufflant depuis la Serra do Mendro. Les sols des vignobles sont riches en pierre de schiste locale. Dans le chai moderne, les méthodes traditionnelles s'allient à des pratiques innovantes, utilisant l'écoulement par gravité pour les raisins et des conditions d'élevage souterraines.
