Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut Quinta do Quetzal liegt im Herzen der Region Alentejo an den Hängen von Vidigueira. Die Rebfläche umfasst 52,5 Hektar und ist in verschiedene Parzellen aufgeteilt, darunter auch ältere Rebanlagen. Das Mikroklima ist geprägt von warmem Sonnenschein und kühlen atlantischen Winden, die von der Serra do Mendro einströmen. Die Böden der Weinberge bestehen überwiegend aus lokalem Schiefergestein. Im modernen Weinkeller werden traditionelle Methoden mit innovativen Verfahren verbunden, wobei die Trauben durch die Schwerkraft bewegt und im unterirdischen Bereich ausgebaut werden.
Im eno-Verzeichnis sind 22 Weine erfasst, überwiegend aus Alicante Bouschet und Antão Vaz. Der Betrieb beliefert Gastronomie.
