Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut Maison Viticole Schmit-Fohl ist seit sieben Generationen im Herzen des Dorfes Ahn in der Region Moselle Luxembourgeoise ansässig. Im Jahr 2021 übernahmen Nicolas und Mathieu den Betrieb mit einer Rebfläche von 14,5 Hektar und stellten die Bewirtschaftung auf biologischen Landbau um. Die Weinberge liegen in einem Umkreis von vier Kilometern um den Ort und sind überwiegend von Muschelkalk geprägt. Die Lese erfolgt ausschließlich manuell, und die Vinifikation findet mit minimalen Eingriffen statt, um authentische Weine mit ausgeprägter Typizität zu erzeugen.
Im eno-Verzeichnis sind 23 Weine erfasst, überwiegend aus Chardonnay und Riesling.
