About the estate
The Wyfold Vineyard estate is located in South Oxfordshire and cultivates one hectare of vines. The winery was founded by Barbara Laithwaite and a friend on a south-facing slope in the Chiltern Hills. The vineyards are planted with the three classic Champagne grape varieties and feature Thames Terrace gravels over Paris Basin chalk bedrock. The estate produces a distinctive sparkling wine that is aged for four years before release. Operations are managed by Barbara Laithwaite and her winemaker son Henry.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Chardonnay. The estate sells to horeca.
