About the estate
The Château Monestier La Tour estate is located in the heart of the Bergerac region in the Dordogne department. In 2012, the Scheufele family took over the management of the property, which encompasses a vineyard area of almost 22 hectares. The winery produces wines under the AOC Bergerac, AOC Côtes de Bergerac, and Saussignac appellations. In cooperation with oenologist Stéphane Derenoncourt, the entire vineyard is being gradually converted to biodynamic agriculture. The cultivated grape varieties include Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Sémillon, and Sauvignon Blanc, among others.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Cabernet Franc and Merlot.
