About the estate
The Wine by S. Pratsch estate cultivates fifty hectares of vineyards in Hohenruppersdorf in the Weinviertel region and has been farming organically for thirty years. Stefan Pratsch runs the winery across generations, relying on the origin of his grapes from various single vineyards such as Rotenpüllen, Steinberg, Erdpress, Kittel, Heiligenberg, and Pfarracker am Heiligenberg. Grüner Veltliner serves as the flagship variety, complemented by Sauvignon Blanc, rosé, red wines, and natural wines. The wines reflect the character of the region and are distributed through domestic and international merchants.
The eno directory lists 26 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Zweigelt. The estate sells to retail and distributors. Export markets include Switzerland, Czechia and United Kingdom.
