About the estate

The Wenzel estate is located in Rust in Burgenland, directly on the western shore of Lake Neusiedl. The winery looks back on a long history and has been run by the same winemaking family for twelve generations, producing wine here since 1647. The portfolio focuses on Furmint as the main grape variety, complemented by Blaufränkisch, Pinot Noir, and other indigenous varieties. Through nature-focused cultivation and vinification, the estate produces spontaneously fermented, unfiltered, and minimally sulfured wines. Distribution takes place internationally through selected commercial partners and importers in numerous countries.

The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Furmint and Blaufränkisch. Export markets include Germany, United Kingdom, Czechia and Spain.
