About the estate

The Weingut Franz Schindler estate is managed in the fourth generation by Ing. Franz Schindler in Mörbisch am See in Burgenland. Across 15 hectares of vineyards located in the best sites, 70 percent red wine and 30 percent white wine are cultivated. The Pannonian climate alongside strict quality criteria and yield limitations form the foundation for the estate's characterful wines. The white wines predominantly mature in stainless steel tanks, whereas the red wines are aged in large oak casks or in barriques following mash fermentation. Distribution takes place directly at the winery, through specialized retail, gastronomy, as well as at wine fairs and presentations.

The eno directory lists 6 wines, mostly from Blaufränkisch and Merlot. The estate sells to horeca and importers.
