About the estate

The Weixelbaum estate is located in the heart of the Wachau in the medieval center of Weißenkirchen. The historic family business has been in its current ownership since 1764, while wine production at the site dates back to 1502. Today, three generations of the family jointly manage the vineyards in harmony with nature. Farming is carried out entirely by hand with manual grape selection and close-to-nature soil management. As a member of Vinea Wachau, the winery produces wines in the traditional styles of Steinfeder, Federspiel, and Smaragd.
