About the estate

The Weinwerkstatt Klagenfurt estate, located in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee in Carinthia, emerged from a fascination with winemaking and brought in its first harvest in 2013. Today, the winery cultivates the Ried Römersteig vineyard in Ehrental with more than 700 vines. The grape variety portfolio includes Zweigelt, Chardonnay, and the fungus-resistant variety Blütenmuskateller. During cultivation, the estate places great emphasis on meticulous manual labor, beneficial-insect-friendly management, and deliberate yield reduction. In addition to wine, the product range also includes liqueurs, fermentation vinegars, and spirits.
