About the estate
The Wolfram Hahn estate farms a vineyard area of 15 hectares in Gundersheim and looks back on a family tradition documented since 1679. The winery is now managed in the tenth generation by winemaker Ulrich Hahn alongside his father Wolfram and his son Leonard. White grape varieties such as Riesling, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, and Gewürztraminer account for sixty percent of production, complemented by red varieties including Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Regent, and Lemberger. Additionally, the estate cultivates fungus-resistant grape varieties such as Souvignier gris and Muscaris to adapt to changing climatic conditions. In the cellar, the focus is on highlighting the characteristic profile of each individual variety through careful vinification.
