About the estate

The Wasem estate in Ingelheim am Rhine looks back on a winemaking tradition that can be traced back to 1726 and spans ten generations. Today, the family-run business is managed by the third and fourth generations, with Holger Wasem leading the winery alongside his sons. The estate's production focuses on Pinot varieties, while all red wines are preferably aged in traditional large wooden casks known as Doppelstück. Alongside winemaking, the winery continuously advances its ecological transformation and sustainable practices. The estate's wines originate from the Rheinhessen wine region.
