About the estate

The Weingut & Landwirtschaft Henke estate is located in the wine village of Sörnewitz along the Saxon Wine Route and is operated as a family business. Established in 1990, the operation was expanded with a winery in September 2003. The cellar rooms and a wine shop are housed in a historic, more than one hundred-year-old building complex of a former waterworks. Meanwhile, young winemaker Christian Henke has taken over management of the winery and is responsible for the vinification of the wines.
