About the estate

The Besenwirtschaft Kretschko estate was founded in 2012 by Andreas R. Kretschko and cultivates 2.5 hectares of vineyards in the Radebeul and Meißen regions. The winemaker exclusively manages steep slopes and terraced vineyards featuring diverse soils such as loess-loam, weathered rock, granite, porphyry, and syenite. The grape variety portfolio includes Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Bacchus, Traminer, Scheurebe, and Pinot Blanc, among others. Vinification takes place in a historic wine cellar in Oberlösnitz with the objective of producing mineral-driven wines.
