The Weingut Hoflößnitz estate looks back on a history founded in 1401 and was once a major princely wine estate in Saxony. The cultivation of the total twelve hectares of vineyards is handled today by the Weingut Hoflößnitz GmbH, which was founded in 1997. The vineyards are located in the Radebeuler Lößnitz and encompass the single vineyard sites Johannisberg, Goldener Wagen, and Radebeuler Steinrücken. Cultivated grape varieties include Riesling, Pinot Noir, Traminer, as well as various historic varieties and fungus-resistant grape varieties. The portfolio includes quality wines and sparkling wines with protected designation of origin.
