About the estate
The Trinks-Trinks estate in Geisenheim was founded in 2009 by the oenologists Johanna Döring and Matthias Friedel. They took over historic family-owned vineyards and produced their first vintage in 2014 on the renovated farm. Since the 2018 vintage, the wines have been certified organic according to ECOVIN standards. Farming is carried out manually, while vinification takes place in the medieval vaulted cellar through spontaneous fermentation with vineyard-native yeasts. All wines and sparkling wines are pressed from self-produced grapes.
