About the estate
The Richard Weiler estate in Lorch was founded in 1921 by Wilhelm Weiler and is now run by the family in the fourth generation. Spanning four and a half hectares of steep vineyards in the Rheingau, the winery practices traditional hand harvesting without any artificial irrigation. Richard Weiler and his daughter Carolin jointly represent authentic Rheingauer wines with a moderate alcohol level and a delicate character. This long-standing family tradition is deeply rooted in the region and the labor-intensive work within the steep hillside sites.
The eno directory lists 17 wines, mostly from Riesling and Pinot Noir.
