About the estate
Located in Burg along the Middle Moselle, the Weingut Paul Knod estate has been managed by Rainer Knod since 1995, representing the family business in the second generation. The vineyards extend across steep slopes in Burg, Reil, and Traben-Trarbach, featuring various slate soils such as gray slate, clay slate, and greywacke. Cultivation focuses primarily on Riesling, alongside other white and red grape varieties. Sustainable viticulture combines traditional cultivation with modern winemaking techniques. The wines reflect their specific terroir and range from dry to semi-sweet and fruity styles.
